The ST8208 is a 150mA high-input-voltage, low-dropout linear regulator (LDO) based on CMOS technology, accepting input voltages up to 18V with an ultra-low typical quiescent current of 3uA. The output is set by internal feedback resistors from 3.0V to 5.0V (2.1V optional) with ±2% accuracy, 0.05%/V typical line regulation and a low temperature coefficient, and it works with ceramic capacitors. Available in SOT23-3, SOT89-3 and TO92 packages for electronic weighbridges, MCU systems, phones, security products and water/power meters.

Overview

The ST8208 series are low-dropout linear voltage regulators with a built-in voltage reference module, error correction module and phase compensation module. Based on the CMOS process, the series allows high-voltage input up to 18V with very low quiescent current. The output voltage is set from 3.0V to 5.0V by internal feedback resistors (2.1V optional), with ±2% output accuracy.
