Product details
Overview
The ST15102S/ST15102D are 2-bit non-inverting bidirectional voltage-level translators for open-drain and push-pull applications. Two separate configurable supply rails are used: the A ports operate from 1.65V to 5.5V tracking VCCA, while the B ports operate from 2.3V to 5.5V tracking VCCB (VCCA≤VCCB), supporting both lower and higher logic signal levels with bidirectional translation between any of the 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V voltage nodes. No direction-control signal is required; data rates reach 24Mbps in push-pull and 2Mbps in open-drain applications. When the output-enable (OE) input is low, all I/Os are placed in the high-impedance state, significantly reducing power-supply quiescent current; to ensure the high-impedance state during power up or down, OE should be tied to GND through a pulldown resistor. With VCC isolation, both ports stay high-impedance if either VCC is at GND; no power-supply sequencing is required, and the IOFF circuitry supports partial-power-down operation. The ST15102S is available in SOT23-8 and the ST15102D in DFN1.4×1-8L, both specified over -40℃ to +125℃.
Features
- 2-bit bidirectional (non-inverting) level translation, no direction-control signal required
- Maximum data rates: 24Mbps (push-pull), 2Mbps (open-drain)
- A ports 1.65V~5.5V (track VCCA), B ports 2.3V~5.5V (track VCCB, VCCA≤VCCB)
- Bidirectional translation between any 1.8V/2.5V/3.3V/5V nodes
- VCC isolation: both ports high-impedance when either VCC is at GND
- No power-supply sequencing required: either VCCA or VCCB can ramp first
- IOFF supports partial-power-down mode operation
- OE-low places all I/Os in high-impedance, reducing quiescent current
