Overview
The ST4315 is a highly integrated solution specifically designed for constant voltage (CV) / constant current (CC) switch-mode power supply (SMPS) applications. The ST4315 integrates a 1.21V ±1% voltage reference, a current sense circuit and two operational amplifiers. The voltage reference together with one op-amp makes the ST4315 ideally suited for power adapters and battery chargers, while the additional low-voltage reference and op-amp make it an ideal current limiter for output current sensing. With 36V input/output high-voltage tolerance, no buck Zener diode is required in most applications, effectively reducing system cost.
