Overview
The ST3102 is a synchronous current-mode step-down DC-DC converter with an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V, supporting applications with a single Li+/Li- cell, multiple alkaline/NiMH cells, USB, and other power sources. The output voltage ranges from 0.6V to the input voltage. It integrates power NMOS and PMOS rectifier switches, minimizing external components and achieving high efficiency. The ST3102 adopts a constant-frequency current-mode PWM control architecture, providing excellent stability and transient response. In shutdown mode, the input-output path is disconnected, with shutdown current less than 0.1uA. The ST3102 also features current limiting and other protection functions. Available in SOT23-5 small package, saving PCB board area and overall BOM cost.
