Overview
The ST8325 is a DOE Level VI compliant primary-side feedback quasi-resonant (QR) AC/DC power controller for low-power applications. It integrates a 650V/2A high-voltage power MOSFET with a maximum output power of 15W, targeting chargers, adapters and LED drivers. It achieves ±5% CV/CC regulation accuracy and standby power consumption below 60mW; built-in line-drop compensation is provided in CV mode, and quasi-resonant control delivers high efficiency and excellent EMI performance, meeting DOE Level VI energy standards. The IC integrates comprehensive protection features including VDD under-voltage lockout (UVLO), VDD over-voltage protection, soft-start, cycle-by-cycle over-current protection, all-pin floating protection, built-in leading-edge blanking, VDD clamp protection and over-temperature protection.
