ST2803 1.0V~6.5V 0.7µA High-Precision CMOS Output Voltage Detector

ST2803 1.0V~6.5V 0.7µA High-Precision CMOS Output Voltage Detector

ST2803

The ST2803 is a high-precision, low-power voltage detector manufactured with CMOS technology. It offers a detect voltage range of 1.0V~6.5V in 0.1V steps with 16 standard voltage options, ±1% accuracy (for detect voltages above 1.5V) and a typical detect voltage temperature drift of only ±100ppm/℃. Operating from 0.7V~7V with a typical quiescent current of 0.7µA and 50mA rated output current, the device integrates a 0.06V hysteresis to prevent output chatter near the threshold and responds within 60µs through a CMOS push-pull output. Housed in a SOT23-3 package over a -40~+85℃ operating range, the ST2803 is widely used in microprocessor reset circuitry, memory battery back-up circuits, power-on reset circuits and power failure detection.

Product details

Overview

The ST2803 is a high-precision, low-power voltage detector manufactured with CMOS technology, offering a detect voltage range of 1.0V~6.5V in 0.1V steps with extremely accurate threshold and minimal temperature drift (±100ppm/℃ typical). Detection accuracy reaches ±1% for detect voltages above 1.5V, while quiescent current is only 0.7µA typical. A built-in 0.06V hysteresis effectively prevents output chatter near the threshold: the output pulls to GND when the input falls below the detect voltage and follows VIN once the release voltage is exceeded, with a 60µs response time. With a CMOS push-pull output rated at 50mA, a SOT23-3 package and a -40~+85℃ operating range, the ST2803 provides a reliable voltage monitoring solution for microprocessor reset, battery back-up and power failure detection applications.
